Inspiration Overwhelm – How to Take Advantage of Opportunities and Avoid Overwhelm

Explosion1 Is it just me, or is inspiration a bit like buses? Either you’re waiting (and imploring) for it to strike, or it comes in an explosion, blasting open several doors in one go, revealing opportunities in abundance.

And once it does, I for one tend to grab as much as I can, taking advantage of the brainwaves and charge that come with it. In fact, my appetite becomes insatiable, to broaden and deepen my knowledge, submerse myself and soak up experience.

I see all the possibilities, begin to dabble, scratch beneath the surface, and before you know it I’m knee deep in articles, books, recordings, and all the courses I can afford, and probably some I can’t.

I must admit I love throwing myself in at the deep end sometimes. My pulse picks up, I’m rising to the challenge and being rewarded with more opportunity and more doors opening. And yes that’s terrifying on the one hand, but also well quite a lot of fun actually.
